try the junk yard, or if no luck there I might be able to sell you the one I just got out of the JY 2 weeks ago. Got it for dads Excursion but it is different than ours, looks the same but different plugs, it is out of a 2000. If interested I could sell for what I paid + shipping.

Im realy not sure... It is out of a 2000 EB which is what I have so I will assume it is like mine, and mine does not have the temp, it has compass, avg mpg, and mi to E. Then again I have the auto temp controls so that displays outside temp. however the one I got it out of had the dial controls. Anyway the #s on the back of it are (on sticker)...

There is a mode and E/M button, and in the display from what I can see (since I have not hooked it up) there is INST/AVG 00.0 miles *E/Gal 00
L/100 km TO EMPTY cal zone.
It is a rectangle plug with 20 pins.that if you hold as if it is in the truck, it is located in the right front corner.
So it MIGHT have the temp where the truck it came from had the dials to set the heat/AC and not the digital like I have. So IDK if it is something you might be able to use we can meet up and you can check it out, as I dont know if my truck MIGHT not be compatible with it. I did not know some had temp on them too...

Not sure where you are in Bama, but Barrys u pull it @ I10 and 90 in tillmans corner (theodore) HAS that single button display. It is in a red F250 IIRC it was a 00 or 01. If it wasnt in that truck it was in one of the 3 expys they have.
