Chrome windshield lock bead?

Chrome windshield lock bead?
Ordered some new chrome lock bead for my windshield seal. Has anyone had any experience with removing and installing this lock/trim?

It is very easy to remove and they make an installation tool to install. I suggest buying the tool.

I have the tool on order, should get it tomorrow. Any tips on the process, or things not to do?

If you put the lock bead in place (in the gasket ) before you install the glass, you won't need the tool ...(use a rope )...

Thats a good tip, however I will not be removing the glass, I am just wanting to refresh the old molding that is no longer chromed.
