Is there a way to adjust the rear wiper on a '98 Explorer ? It moves too far to the right and not far enough on the left...its pretty noisy and I'm sure its not good for the motor.
Remove rear pivot arm.
Lift the pivot arm nut cover.
Remove the nut.
Remove the pivot arm.
Turn the rear wiper switch on and allow the motor to operate for at least one cycle.
Turn the rear wiper switch OFF.
Position the wiper blade outside the wiper arm stop small tab on arm protrusion rests on top of the bracket.
Install the wiper pivot arm onto the wiper motor.
Tighten retaining nut. 113-154 lb/in
Connect the washer hose
Cycle the wiper motor one time to allow the wiper arm to park on the wiper arm stop.
Remove rear pivot arm.

Remove the nut.
Remove the pivot arm.
Turn the rear wiper switch on and allow the motor to operate for at least one cycle.
Turn the rear wiper switch OFF.
Position the wiper blade outside the wiper arm stop small tab on arm protrusion rests on top of the bracket.
Install the wiper pivot arm onto the wiper motor.
Tighten retaining nut. 113-154 lb/in
Connect the washer hose
Cycle the wiper motor one time to allow the wiper arm to park on the wiper arm stop.
