1995 f350 7.3 powerstroke crew cab,220 thousand miles, have had this truck for about 4 months,the water in fuel light keeps coming on ,have driven about 5000 miles ,changed fuel filter three times and added water treatment additive each time i fill up ,still have problem,could i have a bad sensor,if so so how do i change it out.

Run a hose from your filter bowl drain valve to a bottle and drain into and then let it set and see if you still have water. You did not mention if you had drained the bowl or not. If you have not then your water is still there. There is a 5/16" small line near the front of the engine on the pasenger side not far from the CPS, thats the drain line. 3/8's or so hose should work.
If there is no water its either the sensor in the bowl or the actual switch which in front of the fuel bowl laying there with other wiring harness, I think it has 4 wires. Dunno its been a while.
Yes i have drained it several times, sometimes it seems to help after i drive it for a while,but when i shut it down ,the next time i start it ,same thing, just got back from a 2500 mile trip, same thing,
has anyone replaced their sensor.
