How much is "hardly any"? I don't know the specification exactly, but it doesn't take much water to trigger the light. I would evaluate where you might have gotten water and don't go there again. And keep draining often until you don't have water any more.
i thought i read somewhere it took about 2 oz to set the light off but my first time i dont believe it had but an oz or less and the last 2 times it was just a trace in the bottom of a cleaned out gallon milk jug
Then it may just need cleaned. You can use brake cleaner and bend the little tube and soak the sensor down through the drain hole. That would be the first thing I would try. If necessary you might have to take the manifold cover off to get in and clean it.
I would still continue to drain it often to make sure you're getting all the water out.
And like I said, make sure you're using OEM filters. Either Motorcraft or Racor.
