well I checked to make sure tube is seated all the way down and it is. and from looking more closely it has to be the right tube because if it were any shorter when it mounts to the bracket on the valve cover I would not be able to fully install dipstick. so question is did the 7.3 and 6.9 use the same dipstick cause the two that I have are exactly the same.
