Does any happen to know the oil capacity of the Cologne 2.9 EFI engine? I've been looking all over the place, even here, and cannot seem to find it at all!
I put 5 qts in my 2.9 and it over filled.Did'nt take too long to figure out in my formerly resinated brain that sludge in the oil pan was the cause. Then another (dim) light came on:the oil pan is a heat sink;if the bottom is full of sludge this is inhibiting alot of cooling to the oil.Now all I have to do is find the motivation to drop and clean the pan...that could take awhile, but in the meantime I did buy a magnetic drain plug from ebay which may give me,thru weight of curiosity for how it works, the added kick in the butt to get the job done.
