74 f100

just got my 1974 f100 ranger and im wondering what the best repair manual for it is and where i can get one?

Even though I havent seen one in stores for years I would try to find a Chiltons manual. Try ebay or amazon

The 5 volume factory set of truck shop manuals, they're usually available on ebay for cheap.

yeah, I bought the 5 volume set off e bay. I was patient. At first I was totally bummed because I didn't bid on a set that went for 65$. A couple weeks later I scored a unused set, retired out of a dealership on E bay for 45.00

I would suggest all five volumes on CD, for about $30,(flEbay). You can print out what pages you need, and then toss them out if they get soiled. Or as I did, I then used some of the pages to cover areas when I was spraying paint.

I know some guys like the Haynes, or Chilton manuals, but I don't have a use for them after a getting the shop manuals. Usually they left me with more questions than when I started!!
