is he only specializing in 6.4L stuff? i didn't find anything for the 6.0's on the website.
One thing he has always been slow about is updating his site. I know quite a few people in the last couple of months that have bought his new tuner for the 6.0.
He is alot like Casserly in that regard. Doesn't keep up. I think though he tends to like the newer trucks more then the 6.0, but I don't know that for certain.
For 6.0L tuning I'd go to Eric at Innovative Diesel for custom SCT tunes.
i've got an SCT currently so i'm not really in the market for another one anytime soon. maybe after i get studded and start looking for higher hp tunes i'll look into the Phalanx since it can tune the ficm as well.

I have gotten tunes from Eric, Josh(RCD), and Matt. They all have their strong points and their weak points. You really don't want to be tied up to any one tune writer as even though they might write a good street tune, their tow tune might suck(or any combination you might think of I was just using those as an example).
Now, so far SCT has more tune writers out there, but last I heard Matt had 3 that were already on there, but was trying to get a couple more, how good they are, some are, some I don't know about. A couple of them really aren't tied to a/m companies that are big names, some do programming for heavy equipment. For those of you that remember, think of them as being in Evan Foster's position, day job work at Cat and at night do some tuning for Matt.
Unfortunately, "you" will have to pick which tune device you want and stick with a certain group of tune writers. The files from both devices are of a different extension, so you can't create your own "grab bag" of tunes from everyone out there as like I said before, they all have their strong points and their weak points.
For some people to say stick with one person, in my opinion, wouldn't be the best thing to do as that would keep you from getting the best possible tunes for every application, you might get on average good tunes for all application, but not necessarily the best. Best analogy I can think of is when "you" build your own computer as opposed to getting them at Best Buy or your normal computer store. When you build your own, you are able to put in components from different companies who specialize in those individual components and put them all together(providing you make sure you are getting components that are compatible with one another). The result is a much better computer(one would hope if all goes well) then just being it from one brand, who may or may not have all the best components to work with. Different components in this analogy would be like a street tune from X, a tow tune from Y, a race tune from Z etc. All packaged under one "tower" if you will(SCT or Spartan in this case).

They don't have the FICM tuning working yet, could be a ways out, if ever.

Yes and no. Tuning is worked out on their end, my truck benefited from their tuning. It's however, the firmware on the DashDAQ that is touch and go. Matt has nothing to do with the firmware on the device as that is all done be DrewTech. Now at this time, that makes them on par with what the other places that offer FICM tuning at this time, were the module needs to be at the shop in one shape, form, or fashion.
