There wasn't a jack in my truck when I bought it. I need suggestions for where to find one. It's a '79 F250. Would the dealer have one? Or would you suggest a junk yard? Thanks

I'm pretty sure mine has it still, I'll check on monday, if so it's yours if you pay shipping.

 

Check the junk yards. The stock jack was a pain to use, but they will work to change a tire, and they are about the only thing that you can carry under the hood in the stock location. If you find a jack, make sure you get the crank handle that clips on the radiator support.

 

I'm finding the bottle jacks for around $20. Thanks for the info guys. Crone, is the jack is good shape?
