Hey I'm not a huge fan of my 2002 grill setup. I have a heavy duty brush guard but I was wondering what type of conversion is available and how much should I be looking to spend.
If you've done a grill conversion on your truck if you don't mind, post pics.
Are you wanting to convert to the 2005-2007 front end? Are you planning to keep the grille guard? If yes, then it may not be worth your time and $$$ to convert to the newer front end because the grille guard will cover most of it.
As for the cost, that will depend on whether you want to use used or new parts.
Thanks Furian!
I would like to keep the grille guard because its so beefy that if I did hit an animal on my way to work I don't think I'd get a ton of damage. I've done a little more research since posting this and I'm getting a good idea for what's out there. I guess my biggest issue is the tiny boxy headlights on my '02 I like the '05-'07 front end a lot but you're probably right about the grille guard covering it up.
Are the '05-'07 headlights compatible with the '02 grill? Or would that just look ridiculous?
I can't seem to find many pictures of '02 F250 that have been converted.
I've only been a member since 7am but I'm already addicted to FTE. Love it!

Yes, the GEN2 headlights are compatible with the GEN1 headlights. However, you will need to modify the radiator panel (Part #3 in second diagram above) to use the GEN2 headlights. There are several threads on this topic... use the search feature to find more information and pics.
