Give Bob at DieselSite a call. He should know what goes where. I know he has you leave them out of the Adrenaline...

Ken, Check the link for the HPOP instructions that I sent to you. It has a picture of how it goes together.

I checked it and it shows both springs with ends?

alright Ken i just looked at the adrenaline install instructions and the solid flat part goes in first. also after i thought about it if they are check valves and the oil flows out then the solid part facing outward would only block the flow of oil since the spring would not be able to compress at all. stick those babies in solid side down and the oil pressure can compress the spring and let oil out. solid side down (solid side in the pump first) it is......

yeah i would say get a new set then. thats probably what fugged up your last pump. i would speculate that little disc came off your spring and got caught up inside your pump maybe? at any rate check with your local ford dealer and if they are going to be ****** about it i can send you the ones i took out of mine....

Tonight I find I dont have silicone for the plate that goes over the gear nut. So tomorrow .
What silicone are you talking about? I am taking my HPOP off for repair (non-serviceable plug, go figure) and am collecting all the stuff I'll need. I've got more o-rings from Bob than I can count and I've still got to pick up the HPOP gasket to the block (from Ford?) and the IH plug that's a little longer (IH 1842906C91 from a DT466).

I haven't read anything about silicone? Any special type that I need and where does it go?

Sorry for the

Got my gasket from Ford $28.00.
The little metal; cover/inspection plate over the end of the nut where the gear is, has silicone around it(at least mine did)>

I just reused the pump gasket, but I did have RTV already for the gear bolt access cover. If you're going out to buy it, get gray Permatex, same stuff used for the diff covers.
