Possible tranny problems
I think that I am having tranny problems...The previous owner had the tranny replaced at 60000 miles, so the mechanical diode was done away with. I'm not too familiar with auto trannys, but i do know that the tranny is slipping in between first and second, and second and third. Can you guys give me some possible symptoms so that I can try to diagnose this? Do you guys think that maybe a transmission flush will fix the problem? Its slipping prett bad, so I don't know if the flush will help.

find a good and honest tranny shop. The rebuild kit is about $200 and took me about 2 hours to pull the trans out. If you need a torque converter, that will be another $200 for a stock one. Shop around and check lots of places, and lots of tranny shops work on VERY high margins. Thats how I learned.
For you na sayers, The rebuild kit is a factory Borg Warner kit, clutches and gaskets, same thing that comes from the factory.
If you need a hand or need to locate parts, I am more than willing to help you.
