dear fte's i want you (the core group of posters) on this site to know that I really appreciate your willingness to share the incredible amount of knowledge you have gleaned over the years through your experiences either by working in the field or by just building trucks outright. as a nurse it is very apparent to me that the research you guys have amassed and are willing to share is absolutely incredible. without your assistance i would not have had a clue as to what to look for in replacing my widow makers. while i spent 1300 buckeroos for rims, sandblasting and tires the feeling of dread in just walking by those damn dangerous rims is gone. i am sure that i will be picking some more gray matter as i get into some wiring issues (6 to 12v conversion) and i am just as sure that if and when i post a question that i will more than likely get plenty of responses. so while it has been several months since i have been here, believe me you guys are and have been just wonderful and your love of these vehicles just shines through. i guess the best compliment i can give you is that you have been competent, capable and most of all compassionate. thanks again john
Having the place to share all the bits and pieces, and having so many people brenging pieces of puzzles to the table help put those complete pictures together. Active participation is the key!

I don't know Josh, we're a pretty opinionated buch. Can you imagine the shouting matches we would have if we were all in the same place at the same time? LOL
All kidding aside, this site has helped me in ways that I can't even begin to count, everything from answering simple questions, helping me get out of the rut we all fall into from time to time, to boosting my confidence to tackle various parts of the project
your post count shows you haven't been around much... but you'll find that the sharing of knowledge and fellowship is what keeps this site so strong. there is a squabble or disagreement every now and then but by and large EVERYONE here will help a fellow FTE guy with a problem... whether it is truck related or not.... I'm proof positive as a recipient of that friendship and generosity...
don't be a stranger and keep working on that truck... besides we need some fresh meat and more newbies to rag on... us old hands get tired sometimes...
