oil catch can

I have one of these in my Audi and am considering using it on my truck. Thoughts?

Cool design. What's the size of it? Is it like a Red Bull can or more like a 32 oz. beer can?

They have different sizes for different applications, not sure what I'd use on the truck if I used it.

Saikou Michi Company is starting to use a new sizing system known as the "STAGE SIZE"

Don't confuse this with the stage system used to gauge the mod level of a car.

Different vehicles use different fittings for the PCV and Breather lines.

We prefer to size the OCC according to the size of these lines. Knowing what size fittings your vehicle uses will help you decide the "Stage Size" you should be choosing.

To simplify it, here are the Stages and the standard fitting size to be associated with them.

STAGE 1 = 5/16" to 3/8" Barbs

STAGE 2 = 3/8" to 5/8 " Barbs

STAGE 3 = 5/8" and 3/4" Barbs

That's almost exactly like the homemade version Chris (Ponyboychris) created for his truck.

I've been meaning to use his design and mount one on my truck, but I haven't found all the correct parts yet.

BTW, Chris used a 3" ABS pipe.

Just be careful to not use too tight of a mesh filter (I'm using several stainless steel scrubbing pads from Walmart... very loosely packed). You don't want to create a pressure drop across the unit or you can end up blowing oil elsewhere on the engine.
