I need to see a clear pic of how that hook attaches to the bottom tray. Also, is that wire top original? if so what year is that?

If I remember correctly, the 6 cyl battery tray is shorter than the V8. They also mounted in different spots, correct?

The trays are the same size, they just have different mounting brackets. The six cylinder batter mounts on the driver's side and the eight on the passenger's side. The brakets are opposite to occomodate the frame curves.

The one of the right must be for a COE, the one on the left is for a V8, the six is basically a mirrored part.

battery tray

Ok, I see how it works now. I can weld my brackets on the new bottom (99' acura). It's the exact size as the original and only cost $4 at the junk yard. I'll show some pics when its done.
