Let me go ahead and post my question. I don't have temperate control on the a/c heat...in other words, a/c blows ice cold all the time and I have no heater. Also, I have noticed I get outside air all the time, and the cab of the truck stinks of the garage....like a damping door is not closing or something? The heat/cold button feels solid and does not feel stripped.
I pulled the back of the glove box out yesterday to check the door and it seemed to be opening and closing????

Any help would be appreciated
There is no heater control valve on a modular powered F150. Coolant flows through the heater core all the time, no matter the position of the climate controls.

the temp is controlled by an electric motor that moves a door to mix hot and cold air to get the temp you want. your door is stuck in the cold positon. no air from the heater is mixing. i bleive the motor and temp door are below the radio, above the transmission hump. you can remove some of the plastic panels to get to it. you can lay on drivers floor and see the motor i believe. if you get the plastic panels off, you need to engage the temp control and see if the motor is moving or not. if it is working, then the arm to the door is broken. you might need a motor, you might need a door.
