Greetings all I have an 05 supercab 6l. I took it for a 900 km road trip today. It was 90 percent hiway. I dove 120 km per hr and averaged 19.6 mpg. I am happy with this, but want to know how others are making out.
I would say you are above average. Its almost impossible to compare mileage though unless two trucks are taking the exact same route on the exact same day. Hills, wind, passing, etc can all skew the results. That said you'll be pressed to get much better mileage than that, and you'll find most other people are averaging 18's on the hwy even with tunes and exhaust
By my computer read out I have hit 22.3. Normally is see somewhere between 18 and 20. Going from my 5.4 that normally got a max of 15 I'm pretty happy with my 6.0 mileage.
I have been getting around 18 with a mix of highway and city. If I drive it like granny I am sure I could do better but what fun would that be.

05 F-350 Reg Cab 4x4 PSD 6Spd.
I average right around high 18's to 19's...but I have seen 22 twice; that was on a two lane highway running 60 the entire way.
Just from looking a the graph I can tell you the last four times I've drug trailers any distance...when it was 13 mpg (green line in the basement) the truck/trailer grossed out at just over 15k. I was running the a/c and 70 mph on the interstate...and I didn't shut it done at all that day; including the two hours of unloading/reloading before headed back to the house. I could have gotten better mileage if I would have slowed down, without the a/c or if I shut it down while unloading/reloading the trailer. But that wouldn't have been any fun, and I like a cold cab when I've been out sweating in the sun & heat.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again...I challenge every Super Duty/Excursion owner on FTE to post their numbers in the garage. Yeah, you'll the numbers to back up what your bragging about...but more importantly when someone asks what kind of numbers a particular model is gets, they can look through the garage portal...this subject comes up allot. The numbers are there.

I can edge it over 17 if I drive really conservatively and keep it under 70. This is with a 4" lift and 35s. My dad's stock '03 CC has gotten 20-21 a few times running 65 unloaded on flat ground.
I drive 5 over the speed limit faithfully, if its 75, the cruize set at 80 with out a doubt. I absolutely hated when the speed limit was 55 and will never drive that slow, well unless in town that is. If I have to drive under 70 to get any good milage, well then I will never complain and never have about getting 13 because no way in "H" "E" double hockey sticks am I driving that slow.
Limit is 65 here in Oregon, puts me right at 2k rpm with my tires and gearing. I try not to go much faster because my mileage drops off quickly and these heavy trucks don't stop on a dime.
I have a Scurge that gets 17 or 18
I have a 12 valve cummins that gets 20, towing, city, highway, anything, it gets 20.
I have a tdi jetta, that puppy gets 48 on the highway. ( I also have a Yamaha Virago 920 that only gets about 45!)
What do I drive the most................ the scurge!

Right there is the sweet spot on these 6.0L powered truck....2k rpm. Your right below the top of the torque curve (max torque is at 2200, I seem to remember). I don't know if everyone else's truck shifts this way...but if I'm driving "smart" my F250 will shift into OD at 50mph (factory tuned); and it will usually lock the torque converter up at about 60-65. When that happens, it's a whole 'nother world, the power is there to pass someone no matter what the terrain and still getting great mileage while running 70 mph. Which the is speed limit on the interstates here; over in outlaw land (aka Oklahoma) the limit is 75 on the turnpikes...but I'm usually still passing most trucks; though the Mustang/Camero/Charger type still roll past me...I happily let 'em go; I'll pass them shortly when the highway patrol has 'em on the side of the for a "chat". I like my clean driving record and low insurance premiums, but then I've been accused of being a little once or twice in my life.

I have a 07 F-250 . I get 21 to 22 mpg at 75 mph.I have 3.73 gears with 265x70x20" tires. I used a hypertech max energy tuner set on number 2 choice which is for power. When i'm pulling 2 trailers at same time which weigh around 13,000 lbs it gets 15.5 mpg.

If you tow with that tuner turned up your headgaskets probably won't last long.
