Have been making my MOD list for the last few weeks knowing that I about had all the basic maintenance done on my new to me truck. Well, while eating my sandwich just now, I went and priced all the pieces parts and kits I want, sure doesn't take long to hit the $1500 mark, and I haven't even gotten to the tuner yet.....
That said, here is my plan, if someone sees anything I missed, or if it seems like the wrong order, please chime in.
First, I want to upgrade the tranny cooler, towing a 22 foot goose neck horse trailer with 6 horses and all the gear is a load.
Next, I want a wicked wheel and 6637 filter.
4 inch exaust comes next
Riffraffs 3 guage kit next
After that, want to do the CCV, FRx, and HPx
that should keep me broke for the next 5 or 6 months, then onto the next level
I would throw in a trans kit of some kind, before you get tuner. It's much better to get it first and have the tunes setup to match than to do it after (like *I* did ). Other than that, looks like a sensible to-do list.
I would get the Transgo HD2 and do the accumulator VB and line mod modifications. I did it (Joe knows all about it). Smooth install, and noticeable difference. My PHP will be here MONDAY!! CAN'T WAIT!!!
Looks like your well on your way to a better and more efficiant running truck. Thats a nice start in mods, definetly do a trans kit or VB mentioned above before the tuner options..Have fun..

Thanks, Tom
6637 is easy and quick. might help with your EGT's getting some cooler air in there.
Clay has a 6637 kit with 45's and the filter for OBS and the NBS 7.3's
I got an OBS 45 coming from him.
The 45's are powder coated as well for durability.
The Isspro gauges I just got from clay are top notch.
isspro is made in Oregon as well. American made.
With a 4 inch exhaust, that will help with your EGT's also.
Duno about the trans cooler stuff. I wanted one, but I have a stickshift.
