I just talked to Bob at Dieselsite, he said they were caught up on their backlog and could send me a pump as soon as Monday. I ordered one since I just found my non servicable plug out on Hiway 75 after it blew!
hmm ... well the hpop that i jus removed had the same issue as urs bc2sv .... and that is the reason for looking for another HPOP... so if i call tommorow u think they might be able to have one as soon as next week?

You can just replace the plug -- I did mine last Monday. I couldn't wait to have a part sent to me (had a meeting 200 miles away the next day to get to), so I bought the International kit from the local dealer.
Izzy351 thanxs for the webshots ... hey what exactly gave out on yours i think the one im working with seems or looks like its threaded...
Did yours jus have a seal failure or was it something else? what did the lil part from international run ya?
You can't just buy the plug at International. It's actually a rebuild kit for a DT466, and has extra parts you won't need. I couldn't wait to have a part sent, so I had to shell out $58 for it. If you can wait for a replacement plug & O-ring, just order that. I hear you can get it from Bob Reilly at DieselSite.com. I had to leave for Austin early the next morning, so I had no choice. But either way, for a "non-serviceable" plug, it's an awfully easy fix.
If you looked through the pics (you can click the pics to see bigger ones), you'd see it is a threaded plug, and the new on has deeper threads:
Here is a pic of the blown-out O-ring:
This plug is on the front/driver's side of the pump, kind of on the bottom. You need an inspection mirror & flashlight to see the bottom of it. That's how I saw the oil flowing from it at idle. Kind of tough to see...
yeah i did notice that the plug in the picture next to the factory one looked a lil different..,. and actually i have the hpop out already i actually found the plug in the valley ... hmm well imma check out the IH place tommorow and see if i can get the rebuild kit ... maybe it does work... What would u say is "tight enough" for that plug ?
IIRC Guzzle instructions said 20 ft.lbs. on the non-replacable plug. Mine was too soft to tighten it that much, probably why it blew. Does the kit from IH contain the small ball that the shaft on the plug retains? I'm sure mine is still out on the hiway somewhere.
damn it ... i didnt realize there was a lil ball till i read the instructions that came with the kit and when bc2sv jus mentioned it ...N im going to assume that they dont sell jus that part huh ... man ahh!!
ok i looked back in the valley n i found watt seems to be a lil plastic ball kinda like a a brownish pellet? is this what should be in the ball that goes in before the oil ferry plug?
When I did mine last month I thought it looked like a small (little larger than a BB) stainless steel or chrome ball IIRC. I just looked down in the hole though, didn't actually remove it. It did sound like it was important, the reason this plug can't be done while the HPOP is still in the truck.
hmm well the size sounds about the same as the lil ball i found in the valley ... but it isnt metal because i ran a magnet threw the valley n didnt pick it up i had to fish around the oil filled parts of the valley to find it there...and im wonder if this the right part since it seems the hpop i removed is a Remanufactured unit. ????
I'm not sure but you might PM Guzzle93, he went way out of his way to help me when I had this problem, or you could call Bob at Dieselsite, since he builds pumps, and supplies the aftermarket plugs.
