If you're asking if an '02 Superduty axle is the same; no they arent. '99-up SDs have a 10.5" (some say 10.25s were mixed in in early '99 SDs). Slight difference, updated/improved.

The biggest difference is the lug pattern.
170 x 8 metric on the 99 and newer
6.5 x 8 SAE on the 97 and older.
Before I lost a bunch of info, I had a pdf about using 10.5" parts in a 10.25" housing to upgrade the differential.
From what this paper was saying most of the internals are swapable.
Now I have to start searching web sites again to rebuild my info base.
