Heat/ac control problem!

I have a ongoing problem with the heat control in my 08 Lariat. Heat control has the digital numbers and has both an AUTO setting or butons to push for the different vent levels. when putting the digital display even down to 65, it keeps blowing heat even though it get way past 65 defrees. The next lower degree setting is 60. When you display t60, then all cool air. seems like there is no regulating or slowing of the heat when the cab reaches the set temp. Dealer just scratches his dumb head. anyone else here go though that problem? Thanks

it sounds like your blend door actuator....I had it replaced on my 07' and it was doing the same thing...if you poke around this site you will find a TSB for it

+1, my 08 was either full hot of ice cold, no middle of the road. Took it in and IIRC, the invoice said Blend Door.

+2 my 06 did the samething. There is a re-designed blend door motor. I am a bit surprised the 08 models are affected by this..
