I have a 2007 F250 Lariat. I've been having problems with my climate control for the last 6 months or so.
My External temperature on my the climate control display has been showing the wrong temperature. At first it was only off once in a while and only by a few degrees. Now its way off. When its 40 F outside, the display is showing anywhere from 60 to 103. So now when I set the temp on the controls to say 72 and the display is showing Ext at 90, its causing the temperature control to vent the outside air into the cab rather than turn on the heat.
I've had it to a mechanic a couple of times. The temperature sensor in the grill has been changed with no improvement.
I've got the same problem with my 08 F250 but going the opposite direction. It's 90 degrees outside, and I watch the A/C turn off when the exterior temp drops to -32. Not comfortable.
The dealer replaced both actuators for driver/passenger because at first it blew hot on one side and cold on the other. 5K miles later, I have this new problem. I'm going to get the truck flashed in the next two weeks. See if that helps.
