Dragged the trailer up to the in-laws cabin over the weekend. Noticed a little bit of blue smoke at start-up before the return trip. Guess that's not too bad considering I'm at 201,000 kms (125,000 mi). Still pulls like a champ, although every time I tow I find myself wishing I had more gears. The four speed in my truck has to shift down to second for any large hills. Ah well, next truck will be a six speed, maybe even an ecoboost.
Always makes me scratch my head when I read threads where people are complaining about how much the newer trucks shift.
Starting to be a bit cool in the mornings here, I hope we can get ourselves into a warm fall. Some years Setpember and october are the nicest weather of the entire year.
