Got out camping this last weekend. Had a nice time in Bow Valley Provinical park. The brake controller died part-way through the trip. I know it was still connected because it worked fine with the manual thumb slide switch. That's not a fun way to tow.
I'm also upset with myself. Stopped off in Cochrane for some MacKays Ice Cream (world famous, so they say) and I rubbed the trailer on a lamp-post. Busted the cover to one of the clearance lights, and ripped the front awning support most of the way out of the trailer. I haven't been a trailer owner for long, and it's stupid moves like that where my inexpereince shows. Should have parked in a parking lot instead of trying to be a smart-**** and using the street parking.
Trailer is in the shop today getting some TLC, and I'll be picking up a new brake controller before the next trip.

Bummer, this takes some of the fun out of your trip. Been there and done it too.
Hi Dennis, it`s a cool and wet day here Dennis, no rain but a light drizzle at times. It`s supposed to warm up this week, hopefully it does and the farmers can get back on the land as it`s getting late due to all the rains we`ve had.
