From Ontario east and in northern B.C. you have the right to complain about a wet cold. In Vancouver it was like spring time during the worst of the weather. On a side note though, I moved to Alberta because the humidity and pollution were to heavy on my lungs. I wouldnt survive to many winters in northern Alberta or east of the Saskatchewan/Alberta border, my lungs are to wet. I lived in Peace River for a year and a half and that got friggin cold.
That's funny I'm from moncton nbz had asthma all through school. Moved out here and has t bothered me since.
Dr always said loose weight will help... Never did get any lighter.
You want to hear funny. I've always said that I would be the death of me.
When I was diagnosed with Emphysema, my specialist at the time, Lindsey had the sit down session with me to let me know that if I was lucky I might live as long as my father did 56 but due to my lifestyle and work I may only make it to 51 like his youngest brother. I could split the difference and go to 53 like the middle brother. Then she gave me her dead pan look and said that in the future when I go for my breathing and arterial blood gasses test that I would have to get used to useing and seeing the following terms. The actual diagnostic term for this desease is Chronic Obstructive Lung and Pulminary desease. In other words I have COLP desease. My last name is Colp. I always thought the only thing I got from my father was my name. Turns out I was right, twice over.
Now thats funny, but it gets better. The clinic I go to for testing is the Peter Lougheed Clinic and everything is initialed PLC, the same as my initials. As soon as I walk in everyone knows me and they use me to torment anyone who is new there. Sometimes it's a total blast, but I always make sure the newbie is laughing when I leave.
