Repainted the whole truck. Went with black(not the crappy Ford black) with blue pearl. Had the front fender emblems removed and redone with airbrushed ones. New billet grill. ALL lights/lenses on the outside were either smoked or bought smoked. Installed 2" wider rear fenders, new lower profile tool box, '08 tailgate and tail lights.
Louisiana must have easier motor vehicle laws. Couldn't register that truck here in Massachusetts. They don't like dark tint and smoked lenses here. A real shame.
I noticed you even blacked out the mirror turn signal lens(nice touch), but why didn't you do the reflectors on the rear fenders?
Yeah, it's all illegal here too, LOL. Actually the window tint is legal. Just looks way dark from the angle of the picture.
The picture was taken the day before the smoked lights for the fenders came in.
dam nice job! wish i knew someone in the san antonio area who coyuld airbrush my side emblems like that. also does anyone know of a site for a DIY painter to paint a truck? i wanna do my own but dont wana choose the wrong paints and overlook steps etc. ive got a compressor and gun..just never painted anything yet. andi have 2...F250 ext and F350 crew...95 and 97 respectively. thanks for any help you can give me.
