5in duals done with 7in tips

Just got the 5in duals done on my truck yesterday. It all went very good. Ended up costing around 600 for all the parts with a little extra left over for my 95 i just got. Used a diamond eye stainless Dp,4 to 5 adapter, 7ft of 5in pipe (bought a 10ft stick) the longest 45 that grandrock had. A 1 ft long piece of stainless flex (i also HIGHLY suggest to anyone doing this to install flex cause this system is HEAVY and can break the pipe if solid all the way back. I used a 5in grandrock gated T. I had 2 45s that where the same as the one for the over axle one and i ended up cutting them down to where they where more like elbows. Then welded on my special made by grandrock 5 to 7 adapters. They only come in chrome so i had them make me aluminized ones. Then had 2 7in stacks and only used one and cut it in half for my tips. I still am waiting on a 7in bandclamp to come in for the tips which they only sell straight clamps for not preformed ones which is what i like better. I did weld the pipes to the reducers from the inside so i can drive it till next thursday which is when the grandrock stuff comes in. For hangers i used heavyduty universal hangers out at the 2 back pipes. I used a u-clamp and drilled 2 holes in the spae tire mount, the t has a mount on it so i run it through that then bolted it up also double nuting it to prevent backing off. For the fronts i cut all the stock mounts off the pipe, cleaned em up and rewelded them to the new pipe It looks very good and gives it one heck of a throaty sound. I really do not suggest doing this unless for have a mig, a chop saw, and a torch. I also welded all of it back at the duals for a cleaner look. They look great i love them. I even got extra parts for my other truck. Im going to post pcs tommrrow its raining today so i cant get good pics of it aLL. If anyone else s interested i can give you a full parts list so you can have a sweet custom built exhaust too.

That looks pretty sweet...I'm still considering this on my truck. It will be a while though cause I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna be buying a tranny soon.

Holy crap! You went right over the diff? How does the diff not hit the pipe when the springs flex up (like when loaded down)?
