1986 Ford van axle code identification
I found a 1986 Ford Van conversion in the Scrap yard with a 9" rearend. It has an axle code on the door of 16. Can anyone tell me what type (posi or open)and ratio it is. code identification
This junkyard is around 15 miles away. The truck is on the ground with no wheels. I cant crawl under it unless I jack it up. I am allowed to jack it up if I buy the rearend. The door tag # is all I can get now. I appreciate any information you can find. Thanks Hubert
