He's a drunk with an old wreck of a truck with some emblems and a sticker. I can't read that invoice or window sticker or whatever it is.

The engine in the video could be a 360 for all we know--anything sounds tough with open pipes. Nice oil smoke from it too.....

No 428s ever installed and sent out the front door. Who's to say what may have left the back door on a Saturday. The truck most likely has a 360 in it.

428 Cobra Jet was a 68.5 to 70 option only. Long gone by 74. Like John said it never came from the factory like that and 428's were never a option in trucks. I'm sure you could order a 428CJ service engine and have it dealer installed. But from the factory no.

Naw...its is a factory installed 428 with Hemi heads and a factory T-Ram on it I'am sure it is!!mI think they made according to the BOOK in my head ..1 off 1...and thats in his head !! after a case and some shine !! JMO!!

And I don't think it would have the stock 360 valve covers on it neither, if it was a CJ, right?
One other thing I noticed.
Electronic ignition. Or at least the electronic ignition distributor cap. My '74 highboy was made in April 1974, and it had points. I think other F-series that year had electronic, but not the highboy because it was a "heavy-duty F250" basically and had different emissions requirements.

Looks like someone had it, blew up the ol stocker 360 and had a dealer install a motor in it sometime long, long ago. Nothing all that about it, as the truck is surely not anything to look at.
BTW, I have a set of those emblems for my '69(with 428CJ motor in it!), but never put them on. Hmmm, wonder if I could make up some documents and say it was 'factory"? At least it falls within the time frame of possibility.
I did install a set of Galaxie 428 emblems down on the front fenders. Removed the original orange/red/black paint and did them in white/blue/black to match my truck.
