Transfer case support? (Quigley)

I am reassembling a Quigley that I did not disassemble, and I am wondering if I am missing something. The transfer case bolts to the transmission via the Quigley adapter, though is there anything else that supports the transfer case? If not, I am considering making something. It seems like a rather heavy item to just be hanging out that far beyond the transmission mount. This is a 1994 5.8/e4od/bw1356, if that matters.

Well, on my 4x4 van, both the transmission and transfer case are supported. I will have to go outside tomorrow in the day light to give you more info on that.
