I recently installed a 460 in my 46 F100. My question is : do I butcher my front clip for the stock 460 radiator? or,is there a better rad. for my 56?Thanks
I would try to find or have one made that would fit the truck.
Then again it would depend on how much modification was necessary to install the 460 rad.
A 460 is not particularly hard to cool. I ran one for years in a 1970 F100 with the original 302 rad. The main thing is that the rad is in good shape (clean inside) and has good air flow.

and from my recent experience, a working, good flow thermostat
