'62 Steering Box
Hi guys, I have recently purchased a very straight 1962 f100 with stuffed steering box internals. I dont seem to be able to purchase any steering box parts in Australia... The case has the no. CRC3IR and worm cap no.AJ 3580 B (a bit hard to read). Does anyone know if I could use the internal parts from a LHD box from the states in my RHD box? Got to get this truck on the road!! Thanks,

Well I have a theory concerning the RH and LH boxes. Aside from the fact that they are different castings, the internals should be the same. The other noticable difference will be the pitman arm. Even with the worm gear driving the sector shaft 180 out it will still act the same as a LH drive box. Remember this is an educated guess/theory.

Fits: 1961/64 F100 2WD Steering Gearbox.
