Replacing distributor. How do I get TDC before removal?

Replacing distributor. How do I get TDC before removal?
I need to get number 1 to TDC before I but in the new dizzy. Also where are the timing marks at on the 351W? Anything else to look out for or any tips?

Remove #1 plug , turn motor over by hand untill you feel air coming out , use your finger , then line up balencer to TDC mark . The pointer should be on the left side looking from front. Its allways good to clean the balencer & mark the TDC & 10 deg before with something so its easy to see , paint , fingernail polish works good .. Lew
