I just purchased a '99 Navi from my uncle and I can't figure out how to lock the 3rd row bench in the folded forward position. I fold the seatback down, lift the bottom bar up and the seat pivots forward till it is straight up, I see what looks like a locking pin that is just resting in one of the holes in the seat bracket, but I don't know where it is supposed to go (if that what it is?).
I checked the owner's manual, but found nothing except how to completely removed it.
the seat should stay down...DONT PULL THAT BAR thats what unlocks it and makes it come up I ALSO have a 99 navi... but who needs a back seat...when u got twins in the beak seat
hahah..hope that helped you out man dont pull the bar and the seat will stay
I figured it out, I must have some aftermarket seat bracket that allows the rear seat to stay locked in the up stowed position. It has a little sticker that has the company name "Cargo Products" and the name of the bracket is "stow away". I will take a picture of it and post it soon.
I am assuming this is an aftermarket addition, because there is no mention of this in the owner's manual and the fact that it has it's own little label sticker.
