I rigged a red neck lift. Took a five foot long 2x4 and drilled a hole near one end, for the air cleaner bolt that's on top of the carb. Bolted the 2x4 to the top of the carb with the air cleaner wingnut. Got a friend to help me set the intake over into the engine bay and then used the leverage of the 2x4 sitting on top of the radiator support to carefully lower the manifold in place. Crude but it worked pretty good.
