AOD push button

I went to the junkyard today and found 4 of the push button overdrive switches. I have the plates also but a couple have been cut for other switches. I will try to post pictures tomorrow. If anyone needs one let me know in a PM. I know they are rather hard to locate, but I am not wanting much for them.
I think these fit from 87 to 92, I may be wrong.

You mean the E4OD button for the OD cancel? Cause AOD transmissions do not have any buttons associated with them.

I think that is what it is. I know my friend said that ford is no longer making them. Here in La, they are not available from ford. I have checked nearly 120 of these and found only one previous to today. The cash for clunkers has made it a little better in the yards here. If anyone is in search of a switch or a panel, I can help.
Again I am not looking to retire off of these, I would just like to help pass a deal to anyone in need. They do not take up a lot of space, so it is not an inconvenience.
I really am not up on anything after 1983. I am completely lost on fuel injection or anything else more modern, so please bare with me on this.

Yeps, you are correct, these things are a pain to find in good shape - I personally have like 4 or 5 of them for the same reasons as you, I found them in junkyard trucks and grabbed them figuring someone someday may need one. They are the OD cancel button that sits on the dashboard, they fit all '89-'91 trucks with E4OD, '87 and earlier trucks had the C6 transmission, and the '92-'96 have the OD cancel button on top of the shifter. If anyone needs a switch like that talk to Kyle first, when he runs out of his stash I can accommodate a few more requests but he takes the first calls.

Hey Bill, THANKS for the info! I did not understand at first that the switch in the thread was a dash mount. I need the shift lever switch.

This is what I found. Two of the plates have extra holes cut into it. The other two plates are in very good shape. Let me know if you just want a switch and not a plate. My friend told me that the screw mounts sometimes strip or break out.
