Not really worth it IMO. For the cost of one, you could rent a real industrial pressure washer and not tax you compressor, not to mention actually get stuff clean.
What does your air compressor put out, 175 PSI?
I was using a 3600 PSI 13 HP Honda powered unit today to try and clean a sidewalk.
with a 20* nozzle, it wasn't enough...
Like ArdWrknTrk said, your compressor only puts out a small amount of pressure compared to a real pressure washer. You could probably get close to that by putting your thumb over the end of the hose and only allowing a small stream of water thru.
Okay, maybe not close to 175 psi, but if you want to clean stuff with higher pressure water, your better off just renting a pressure washer, unless you plan on using it alot, then buy one. Their pretty cheap now a days.

That's like putting street tires on an IndyCar. You need a "Turbo Tip". It's basically a 0º tip that oscillates incredibly fast. They come in different patterns--circular, straight line, and I think even a box/rectangular pattern.

Thank You, Yes I know!
We used to use these to clean off the lobster traps and boat bottoms.
The Graco I was using was borrowed from a painter friend for the day.
(I suspect he doesn't have a 4k+ unit or a turbo tip because he's sick of replacing siding that his guys cut through)
