Never had a V10 but it can't be any worse than these. 8 to 9 towing 17000lbs. 13 to 14 being a tourist towing nothing. the good news is it's been parked in my shop for 3 weeks now and hasn't used any fuel.

It's been said that men have a veracity issue when it comes to sex or fuel mileage. Maybe he does a lot of down hill driving with a tail wind.

straight hwy if you reset your lie-o-meter mine will hit 25 mpg. But...the minute you stop or turn those numbers just disappear.

As they used to say at the farmer's coffee shop when discussing corn yields. The first liar doesn't have a chance.

My 01 has done 21 on long trips if not pushed too hard for a tank or two. Most driving in the summer on longer drives is in the 17-19 range and around town 13-15. If I'm towing about 11-12 if I keep it below 60-65. In the winter is drops a couple of miles per gallon on average. The truck is a F250 PSD 4x4 auto SC short bed.

Yes, my 01 did that or close to it too. But we're talking about 08s here, this is a whole different deal. You see we are great Americans because we are not heating the world up and causing global warming. BS BS BS BS BS

Mine did 15-16 on flat hwy unloaded and now does 17-18 on same road. This is running 70mph. Went to Spartan to obtain these numbers. I've actually got just a tad over 18 once or twice running around 65mph. This is all hand calculated.

Actually Stanley I am not really sure where they came from. I just picked up the truck about a month ago. The only thing I have added was the vent visors and a set ofhttp://huskyliners.com/Custom_Molded_Mud_Guards I know you can puchase chrome covers for the mirrors. My buddy got them for his truck after a snowplow plowing snow punched a hole in his. He simply covered them and also got the door package included

like you I just got mine a couple months ago. I've been thinking about those chrome mirror covers that glue on. How do your buddies look on the truck? I found chrome tow hooks on ebay. I don't like a lot of chrome usually but I'm thinking on a white truck it might be OK.
