Im in the process of doing some exhuast mods. I want to have something different around my area and want to make a 5in dual system. I've seen 4in duals and i know that no company i have found makes 5in duals.Im sure i could take it to a muffler shop but i want to conserve some cash. The way i want to do it is go with 4in downpipe, curve the pipe up or use stainless flex, use a 5in gated t, run 45s out towards the corners of the bumper then finish it off with 7in tips. I know 7 in is big but it will look cool and be different. Going to be around $460 with tips.Any you guys out there done something like this?
Sounds good to me! I know 4" is hard to get to clear the shock and spare, so I imagine 5" would be harder, but good luck to you. Post pics as well if you do follow thru with this
Well the spare is no longer there was gone when i got the truck. I was thinkin it will be a little tricky but should work. Only goin a single 5 past shock so hopefully it works well
WOW! Thats a deal! i Looked on ebay and cheapest i found was like 89. I did see 2 7in stacks off a 379 PETE i may bid on going for 50 right now. I will keep my eye out for what your talkin about
Looks awsome! Thats where i planned on routing mine for the duals. I ordered a stainless 4" downpipe yesterday so once it comes i can start the project. Im still waiting to see how the bidding goes on the 7" pete stacks if doesnt go too high those will make nice tips
Make sure to post some pics. I have thought about going to duals on my truck and considering that I already have the 5 inch system...the duals would be 5 inch as well.

Ok i will do that. Just waiting on the DP to get here to get the rest the stuff. The hard part is going to be getting it positioned right over the axle to the Tpipe for the duals. Ill have the trusty mig right beside me to help.lol I am also using a gated T so it smokes evenly out each pipe when i get into it.
