Mufflers question
Hello,
I was wondering what the difference between a dual in dual out muffler vs a single in/out internally. I've done the whole true dual setup with 40 series mufflers and it wasn't very sound pleasant especially for a six. I use to run a single in dual out 40 series muffler and the sound was great I eventually changed to a magnaflow muffler but looking to go back now. Basically what I want to know that if the exhaust pulses in a dual in/out muffler 40 series join together in the casing? Right now I have a dual in single out magnaflow to join the exhaust pulses together.
The truck is a 86 f150 with 300 six
