Block Heater Cord?

Block Heater Cord?
Hi, Got my first excursion. 2003 6.0 diesel and am LOVING it. Gets cold here at night and I was wondering if ALL 2003's come with the block heater. I have searched in all the right places and there is no cord, but is there definitely a block heater on all these 6.0 Powerstroke engines?

I would say ALL have the heater and the two I had, an 03 and 05, had the cord...
so think many will have them...
it is next to impossible to find unless u know what u are looking for...
it's a black cord, in a black hole, folded up in a dark spot
think of it as a female end of an extension cord with 3 holes and a plug over the top...
and honestly.... you probably won't need it

Mine was in front of the passenger side of the Radiator zipped tied to the left radiator support running up and down the left side...

My '05 didn't come with it, I had to buy it and put it in. I think that in the later years they only came on trucks that were sent to northern/cold states.

your '05 came with it???
Got mine when I lived in Miami I recall being told (somewhere on this forum) that they were only included on trucks that went to certain states, FL not being one of them....

Yep, sure did - I was surprised too !
Maybe both my 03 d 05 were intended for "up there"
but both were delivered to dealers here in the dfw area !
Not that I EVER need it
but I did try it once just for grins !!!
