Block Heater

I have read on a few posts that people think all of the 6.0 come stock with a block heater, just no cord. Where is the block heater located(which side, front or back) My f 350 was brought up from the US and I was thinking it may not have one cause I can't find a cord. Up here where I am a block heater is a must so if there isn't one in it I gotta get one put in soon. Puddles are freezin' over already.

You might try the OReilley's recommendation - some have said it is under $20 there.

Also (according to PowertrokeHD):
Powerstrokeshop.com also sells the Zero Start cord for $16 under part number...

PSM/3600008

I have dealt w/ these guys on a number of purchases and like them.<!-- / message --><!-- sig -->

Wink Looks like this . . .

Here are some pic's from my gallery. It is above the starter on the passengers side of the engine. You have to route the cord to the front right tow hook . . .

To use the factory install points, you do have to route to the front right tow hook area - but it can be run virtually anywhere that is desired. Many folks route it to the back bumper.

Your pics are very helpful lonewolftx - thanks (they are also in one of the links in my first post).

Cool, above the starter on the passenger side. I have a look tomorrow and then start the search for a plug and cable. FTE rules!!!

Some of us have used a Marinco plug also so you don't have a cord flapping around up there. Makes for a neater more functional install.

Pony, if you have an international dealer near you, your best bet is to just go to them for it. Quicker then waiting for it to be shipped in from the states and pretty cheap from them, 20 bucks or so when I bought mine from them.
