NOS Tailgate?

This tailgate appears to be NOS. Is it worth more or less than a reproduction?

The boss wants to E- it, I don't really have any spare change for it either, even though it would fit my truck.

If the tail gate is dentless and no rust, original Ford iron, it might be worth about $500.00 +/-

I paid $350 for my NOS tailgate. (still in the box; ain't got around to it yet).
