Hard to say what it's actually worth because certain people who are rebuilding their Bronco to showroom condition will be willing to pay quite a bit for NOS. Aftermarket ones are $300 plus shipping. NOS would be worth at least twice that IMO. At least I wouldn't take less than $600. Junkyard ones are much cheaper if one can find a rust free dent free tailgate and those include the hardware usually, but many people love buying NOS parts for their builds and willing to pay for it. But, it boils down to the market you are going to target and if you are willing to ship. Ebay brings some really good almost outrageous prices for NOS parts because you are targeting a huge market and individuals who are spending a boat load of cash on their builds and a $600 or so part is nothing to them. You could always set a reserve on Ebay and then see what you can get. If not much the first time, re list it. If you try to stick with your local market than the price will usually go down quite a bit.
Yea I was thinking about ebay would be my best bet the only thing I am not really liking the idea of getting involed with shipping the tailgate that will be a pita.
I havn't been on this board that much you finish your build it looks like it is all done in the pic looks sweet
i scored an nos tailgate for my 78 bronco this spring for 400 + 120 shipping in alberta and was happy to get a new one for that price cant seem to find any numbers on it but if it os aftermarket by chance that its a very good replica as all the parts changed over tik-ity-boo
