I looked at a truck that was identical condition as this truck, color matched and all, found on auto trader, went to see it and was just let down mechanically. the owner said he had sold it if I didn't want it, to someone from out of state.
bottom line if this came from Indiana and then ended up in NY it may be the POS I looked at, drive it, the trans wouldn't shift correctly in the 3-4 shift? and the middle seat was patched with a plastic filler like patch (looks like candle wax)
Gas hike or not a diesel in running good condition should not be in that price range unless it wont sell otherwise.

2000 MY trucks never came with fogs, but they can be added with a simple mod to the headlight switch; fogs became standard from the 2001 MY up.
The RSS or reverse sensing system was optional for the 2000 MY and standard from from 2001 up.
Power adjustable pedals were available with late 2001 MY trucks and optional there after.
I'd question how mechanically sound that truck was, drive it and see what you feel...

The owner will not call me or discuss the EX with me. She says she is an American Airlines flight attendant and she has hired ebay to complete the transaction and she needs me address and full name to complete the process. I told her to forget it.

I'm trying to look at it, but the seller will not respond back to my e mails. The EX had the CPS recall done in Louisville, KY on 8/10/09 per the OASIS. That is all the OASIS showed. The seller stated it was in KY. I live in Lexington, so I'm not that far away. I'm dying to look at it...Hopefully he'll respond back...Just seems to be good to be true!

Im in Ct.,,I did see that add about a week ago,,and it was in NY,,seemed to be ,,,To Good of a deal.
I just looked in Autotrader again,,Add No longer came up for me,,I run the 200 mile search,,just to see whats out there.
