I looked at a truck that was identical condition as this truck, color matched and all, found on auto trader, went to see it and was just let down mechanically. the owner said he had sold it if I didn't want it, to someone from out of state.
bottom line if this came from Indiana and then ended up in NY it may be the POS I looked at, drive it, the trans wouldn't shift correctly in the 3-4 shift? and the middle seat was patched with a plastic filler like patch (looks like candle wax)
Gas hike or not a diesel in running good condition should not be in that price range unless it wont sell otherwise.
The owner will not call me or discuss the EX with me. She says she is an American Airlines flight attendant and she has hired ebay to complete the transaction and she needs me address and full name to complete the process. I told her to forget it.

Lots of scams out there now days. Tried to sell some stuff on Craigslist and all I got was scams. They need to build some cheap jails to house these people.
.........so I hired ebay to sell it; just kidding.
I'm trying to look at it, but the seller will not respond back to my e mails. The EX had the CPS recall done in Louisville, KY on 8/10/09 per the OASIS. That is all the OASIS showed. The seller stated it was in KY. I live in Lexington, so I'm not that far away. I'm dying to look at it...Hopefully he'll respond back...Just seems to be good to be true!

Sorry to hear it didn't work out. I live in Lexington too and was going to offer to go with you to look at it. I'm aways up for a vehicle adventure.
