Hubby is having problems with the truck. Its a 02 Explorer and the code is P0745, seems like a tranny issue from what ive read. but also there is a tsb out on this issue and seems like a recall on any explorer made prior to 3/4/2002, so my question is can i determine with the vin number when the truck was manufactured? the vin number is 1FMZU73E92UA23814 and cant figure out how to decode it. any help would be great...thanks in advance

Reason: typo
Your door label gives the month and year the vehicle was produced. That data is not encoded in the VIN.
There are no recalls for your (or any other '02 Exploders) for anything remotely related to your issue. You can check your VIN for any outstanding recalls at any dealer or online at http://www.ford.com/owner-services/c...ll-information
The TSB is NOT a recall. Don't confuse the terms as each means something specific.
Your vehicle is out of the factory warranty, so the repair will be expensive unless you have an extended service contract.
