it looks cool although i can't really picture how all goes together. so do you have this and the zoodad or cut out the size of that thing in the spot where the zoodad would be but then hook this up in their. kinda confusing. looks good quality though, i just never wanted to do and zoodad type stuff to any of my trucks because of the chance of water getting into the intake...
I would say cut hole for zoodad put the small end into the zoodad hole and have the large portion of the "funnel" facing forward. More surface area to catch/force air into the air filter area.
adambomb....nghtrgr is right...it appears to have a foam rubber collar that easily slips into the intake snorkel...you will have to "mod" (cut an opening in the core support (fiberglass frame...driverside)...My Zoodad includes an inverted or convexed kitchen sink strainer (stainless steel mesh) that is sandwiched between two galvanized flanges...this way bugs, birds, large debris down get swallowed up by the opening and it repells the aforementioned as well as water from rain ...including heavy Forrest Gump Sideways rain. Don't worry about the heavy rain...believe me...it would take ALOT to get in there....never seen a drop in some serious Nor'easters here in Coastal Carolina.
