Why is John able to use the money we pay for insurance to buy parts for his trucks?

Why am I able to get Medicare, but still have to pay about $600 per month for health insurance for my wife and me.

Why do we still have deductibles on top of that.

Why don't you shop around Del? We pay about $400. a month.

Rick, I included the Part A premium deduction from Social Security, the supplemental premium and the Part D in my calculation. It may not be $600, but is between $500 and $600 for next year for the two of us.
