multiple codes on 96 f150
early in the day i got the normal 402 i get every time i start the truck. I've replaced the DPFE several times and that fixes it for a few weeks long enough to get it to pass inspection..
Anyway later in the day i got 1150, 1151 and 1152 all at the same time.
Cleared those and an hour latter got 153.
Any ideas?

Thanks

No real reason replacing the DPFE corrects that, likely not the problem. Fault not corrected and just takes a while to return is more likely the reason it thinking it does. Has to happen more then once, and within a given amount of key off on cycles.
P1150 Lack Of HO2S21 Switch - Adaptive Fuel At Limit
P1151 Lack Of HO2S21 Switch - Sensor Indicates Lean
P1152 Lack Of HO2S21 Switch - Sensor Indicates Rich
P0153 02 Sensor Circuit Slow Response Bank 2 Sensor 1
Some insight to these codes/faults should be apparent by watching the O2 sensors and the fuel trim in action.
Information here on how to interpret the O2 sensors readout if you do not know how > http://www.aa1car.com/library/o2sensor.htm
Being familiar with your diagnostic scan tool/code reader helps too......
I know the 402 is a known 96 FORD ishue infact they come with a paper saying the sensor range is difrent then the OEM spec but ford recomends not to flash the ECM...
the 1150-52 have got me cross eyed as they happend at the same time. lean and rich so i can only figure the O2's on that side are on there way out or something else is wrong like maybe the begining of an exhaust leak? hung injector etc.
Was hoping someone else had seen this before.
Thanks for the link!
